Camel Hump Rain Barrels!
Written by Kirsten Harper Friday, 05 April 2013 13:22

KWF recently installed Rain Barrels at our Kimberton Location!  They were purchased from local company, Camel’s Hump Rain Barrels.

Here’s what they have to say:

What is a rain barrel?  A rain barrel can be any container that is placed under a downspout to collect rain water from a roof and other surfaces.  Rain barrels have been growing in popularity over the years, providing a way for people to conserve water and money while still having beautiful well-watered flowers and gardens.

The benefits of Camel’s Hump Rain Barrels:

-Our barrels are purchased locally, built locally, and are no longer sent to landfills.  Only food grade products, mainly olives and peppers, have been put in our barrels before we get them, no chemical residues to worry about.

-Our barrels are constructed with high quality fittings to assure a long lasting water tight seal.  The top of the barrels are screened to prevent gutter debris and insects from getting inside the barrel.

-Your rain barrel is conveniently set-up to easily be “buddied” with a second barrel for double the water storage.  They are joined by a garden hose at the bottom drains.
