5-6 Organic Apples
½ Cup Madhava’s Light Agave Nectar
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 ½ tablespoons Cornstarch (or 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder)
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
2 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
* Optional:  You can also add some Lemon Zest with the juice
Bottom & Top Pie Dough, uncooked

Methods/steps

1.        Preheat oven to 350°.

2.       Peel, core, and thinly slice apples.  Set aside.

3.       Combine cornstarch, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.  Sprinkle over apples and toss evenly.

4.       Then sprinkle lemon juice and Agave in and toss once more.

5.       Add to uncooked pie shell.  Dot with butter.  Place second crust on top and seal around the edges.

6.       Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
