Savory Vanilla-Spice Rub for Meat

Use the recipe below to make a savory rub for meats. Unlike most marinades that are high in fat, this dry rub adds flavor directly to the meat without any added fat.

1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon ground vanilla bean
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon Pohnpei Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Red Ape Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice

Methods/steps

Mix all the ingredients togther and rub on meat and poultry up to 24 hours in advance and store in the refrigerator.

Store any leftover rub in a sealed glass jar in a cool, dry place and use within 3 months for best results.
