The Halloween Moonwalk will take place at the Rapps Dam Bridge Trail Head on Friday, October 22. Park at the Township Building, 1158 Rapps Dam Rd.

Costumes are encouraged, FYI this walk will not be scary! See info below to enter the pumpkin carving contest–prizes will be given to the winners.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Tickets will be made available here on Friday, October 8.

Tickets will be available in 15 minute increments from 6-8pm. Each family member will be required to have their own ticket. Please arrive at the designated time noted on your ticket(s). You will not be allowed to come at a different time.

The walk will start along the paved portion of the French Creek Trail. Walkers will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite carved pumpkin (see below for contest info) and enjoy a walk along the trail under the full moon. Once walkers get to the first pedestrian bridge they will be directed back along the unpaved portion of the trail to the parking lot.

There will be luminaries lighting the path, but we encourage everyone to bring flashlights. Halloween flashlights will be given to the first 100 children under the age of 12.

At the end of the walk, goodie bags of Halloween candy and toys will be given out as long as supplies last.
