The Beginning
Paul V. Profeta co-founded Profeta Farms with his wife, certified Integrative Nutrition Coach, Joanne Malino and organic farmer John Place in 2012. The certified organic farm includes land in central New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Their vision for Profeta Farms is that it may serve as a template for the way America should feed itself: local, sustainable, certified organic farms featuring integrity and transparency, using the environment in a sustainable and responsible fashion while treating animals humanely. It is their wish that shoppers may truly “know their farmer”.
They focus on regenerative agriculture that not only adheres to, but goes beyond the standards of USDA organic certification, and strive to create a diverse food system that promotes healthy soil, plants, animals, and people. Their market in Readington, NJ offers produce, meat, and dairy grown and raised right on their farm, as well as a creamery and bakery.

The Bakery
The beauty of Profeta Farms’ bakery is in the ingredients: their made-in-house pies are crafted with all organic ingredients, including their own Profeta Farms eggs.
