Greener Partners Kale Popcorn Kimberton Whole Foods

Kale Chip Popcorn

  • 2 bunches fresh kale
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Sea salt, to taste

Preheat oven to 275ยฐ. Wash kale and dry with a salad spinner or towel. Peel kale away from stems and toss in a bowl with olive oil and sea salt. Arrange kale pieces in one layer on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, or until crisp. Eat kale chips just like any other chips, or for a special treat, crumble kale chips over popcorn!

Sunflower Seed Greener Partners Kimberton Whole Foods

Sunflower Seed Balls

  • 1 cup roasted sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup sunflower butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Place the sunflower seeds in the food processor and blend until it becomes a mealy consistency. Add the remaining ingredients and process until combined. Roll the mixture into balls and roll in excess coconut.

Bliss Balls

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup walnuts (preferably soaked for 2-4 hours)
  • 1 1/4 cup dates

Place all four ingredients into food processor and grind until a moist ball of dough forms. Roll the dough into balls. They are delicious just plain but have fun experimenting with different coatings such as sesame seeds, hemp seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds, shredded coconut, cinnamon, cocoa powder, chile powder, grated citrus peel
