Every week, our Real Meals offer you a healthy dinner idea that you can get on the table quickly, using our favorite organic and all-natural products. This week’s inspiration is a Mozzarella and Pesto Waffle Panini. You can have it on your table in just 4 steps!
- To prepare one panini (repeat as needed): Pile slices of mozzarella on one Nature’s Path home-style waffle. Top with pesto and slices of oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, then more cheese. Finally, top with the second waffle. (Try Miyokos vegan mozzarella for a plant-based alternative!)
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and brush with oil. Griddle sandwiches, pressing down with a heavy pot or spatula, for about 3 minutes per side, or until golden and cheese is melted. Alternatively, use a panini press if you have one.
- Allow the sandwiches to rest for about a minute, then slice in half.
- Toss salad greens with balsamic vinaigrette and serve on the side.
