Real Meals: Pan-Seared Strip Steak with Asparagus and Hash Browns

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Combine asparagus (trimmed) and grape tomatoes (halved) on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Toss with some olive oil, minced garlic, and salt & pepper to taste. Bake 15-20 minutes, or until asparagus is tender. Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and/or a sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese.
  2. Heat Strong Roots brand Cauliflower Hash Browns according to package directions.
  3. Meanwhile, heat oven-safe grill pan over medium-high heat. Rub steaks with your favorite steak rub, or keep it simple with just salt & pepper.
  4. Grill steaks for about 2 minutes per side, or until they reach desired doneness. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
