Ordering & Account FAQs

How do I place an order?
Weโ€™ve changed our ordering platform this year to improve the customer experience. To place an order, customers will need to create a profile in our online store using their name, email address, phone number, and a password. A verification email will be sent to your provided email address. Once this is verified, you can place an order.

Turkey & Prepared Side FAQs

Are the turkeys fresh or frozen?

Our Thanksgiving turkeys are fresh. The turkeys come from Kochโ€™s Turkey Farm, which follows USDA standards for fresh poultry. These standards allow the turkeys to be deep chilled to 26ยฐF โ€” cold enough to form a thin crust of ice on the surface, but not frozen solid.

This process helps maintain the turkeyโ€™s freshness and quality while ensuring it remains safe to store until youโ€™re ready to cook it. So, if your turkey feels a bit firm or icy to the touch, thatโ€™s completely normal โ€” itโ€™s simply a result of the deep-chilling process that keeps it fresh.

Additional information on the USDA Poultry Labeling Guidelines at back of this binder.

Are the turkey breasts bone-in?

Yes.

How are the turkeys raised?

We are offering turkeys from Koch’s Turkey Farm.

Kochโ€™s turkeys are Certified Humaneยฎย and raised according toย The Global Animal Partnership guidelines.

What is the difference between the โ€œNaturalโ€ and โ€œOrganicโ€ turkeys?

Koch’s Organic Turkeys are raised on 100% organic feed. All of the turkeys we offer never receive antibiotics, hormones, or animal by-products as part of their diets.

Are the turkeys cooked or raw?

The turkeys are raw.

Are the turkeys previously frozen?

The turkeys are fresh, never frozen.ย

How much turkey do I need?

The rule of thumb for buying turkey is 1 pound per person. This will allow for a generous amount of turkey plus some leftovers – if you really want to continue to enjoy your turkey in sandwiches and salads for a few days after the holiday, allow 1.5 pounds per person.ย

Are the sides fully cooked?

Yes, all side dishes are fully cooked and just need to be reheated. Reheating instructions will be available on our website, included in your pickup reminder email, and printed copies will be available in-store.

Can I modify the ingredients of the prepared meals or sides?

Weโ€™re unable to accommodate special requests for ingredient modifications to our complete meals or side dishes due to the high volume of Thanksgiving orders.
