- Heat a nonstick pan over medium-high heat.
- Brush the inside of each hot-dog bun with oil. Toast, cut side down in the pan, until golden.
- Remove buns and keep warm. Wipe the pan clean, and add sausages to the pan. Cook, turning frequently, until they are browned and reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
- Serve sausages on toasted buns with sauerkraut (warmed, if you like), relish, and whole grain mustard. Serve with your favorite chips.
