Real Meals: Ricotta Pasta with Peas

Our weekly Real Meal offers you a healthy dinner idea that you can get on the table quickly, using our favorite organic and all-natural products. This week’s inspiration is decadent yet light, and made with just 5 ingredients: Ricotta Pasta with Peas. You can have it on your table in just 4 steps!

Ricotta Pasta with Peas Kimberton Whole Foods


  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, saute minced garlic in a large saute pan over medium heat, in a small amount of oil, until fragrant. Add ricotta and enough milk to create a smooth, thick sauce. Bring to a gentle simmer. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Add frozen peas to the sauce and heat just until cooked through.
  4. Drain pasta and add to saute pan, stir to coat with sauce. Optional: Top with grated parmesan and freshly cracked black pepper. Serve with a side salad, if desired.
