Our weekly Real Meal offers you a healthy dinner idea that you can get on the table quickly, using our favorite organic and all-natural products. This week’s inspiration is decadent yet light, and made with just 5 ingredients: Ricotta Pasta with Peas. You can have it on your table in just 4 steps!
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, saute minced garlic in a large saute pan over medium heat, in a small amount of oil, until fragrant. Add ricotta and enough milk to create a smooth, thick sauce. Bring to a gentle simmer. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Add frozen peas to the sauce and heat just until cooked through.
- Drain pasta and add to saute pan, stir to coat with sauce. Optional: Top with grated parmesan and freshly cracked black pepper. Serve with a side salad, if desired.
